Our signature Workshop occurs each summer in Austin, Texas. We also offer mini one-day workshops and workshop series during the school year in Austin, Texas.

Somos Escritoras, a creative space for Latinx girls in grades 6-8, is participating in the Texas Book Festival!
Fall Writing Workshop Series 2021
We invite you to join us for a special fall writing workshop series.
The virtual workshop series takes place every Monday in October (10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25) at 5:00pm – 6:30pm CST.
This workshop is FREE via Zoom and facilitated by Dra. Tracey T. Flores and the Somos Escritoras writing mentors from UT Austin and the Artist Community.
This workshop is open to Latinx girls in grades 6-12.
SPACE IS LIMITED.
Registration closes when we reach capacity or by September 24th at 5pm CST.

New Year Vision Board Workshop
We invite you to join us for a special vision board and intention setting workshop.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:00-11:30 a.m. (CST).
This workshop is FREE and will be hosted via Zoom and facilitated by the Somos Escritoras writing mentors.
This workshop is open to Latinx girls in grades 6-12. Space is limited. Registration will close on January 22nd or when we reach capacity.
