Day 28: I Dream A World
Inspired the poem, "I dream a world," composed by Langston Hughes.
I dream a world where mujeres rise
where every voice, shout, and cry is heard
where strength is met with love
and every wound is healed
I dream a world where borders blur
where we blend in vibrant hues
where language is not hushed and hidden
but loved and shared
I dream a world where stories
of fierce struggles before us are told
and illuminate our paths and journeys
their voices of a strength a reminder
A world where
every mujer is free
of such I dream, my world.
